Day of Mindfulness

Sunday, April 30

8:30 am - 1:00 pm

Artspace Zendo

230 South 500 West, Suite 155

For thousands of years, people have used mindfulness practices - techniques to develop awareness of present experience with acceptance - to deal effectively with a wide range of life challenges. Now, a large and fascinating body of scientific research validates the remarkable benefits of mindfulness practice to enhance psychological flexibility and resilience, as well as physical health. Mindfulness as a disciplined practice is often considered the foundation for a mature spiritual life.

In this half-day Sunday retreat, we'll practice mindfulness meditation including:

-- Establishing Body Posture

-- Working with Breath

-- Centering the Mind in Here and Now

-- Experiencing Innate Well-being

Arrive by 8:30 am to say hello, enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, and get settled for meditation which starts at 8:45. Everyone is welcome.
