The Day of Zen with Michael Mugaku Zimmerman Roshi is for those who wish to deepen their meditation practice with the support of a committed sangha. Participants will receive posture and breath instruction—the essence of Zen practice.

Prerequisites
Before registering for a Day of Zen, please attend at least three sits with Two Arrows Zen at our location at 21 G Street. You’ll find more information about the daily meditation schedule HERE.

Participants will

• Engage in four hours of sitting and walking meditation.
• Listen to a Dharma talk and receive meditation instruction.
• Have the opportunity for an individual interview with the teacher (dokusan).
• Enjoy a light breakfast and healthy snacks.

$20 – Under 30 or Full-time Student
Pre-registration is required. No walk-ins, please.

ORIENTATION AT 7:15 AM
If this is your first Day of Zen, please arrive by 7:15 am for an orientation session. We’ll review the basic Zendo protocols and sitting instructions from 7:15 to 7:45 am.

Coffee, tea, and light breakfast items will be available at 7:45. The first sit starts at 8:00 am.

You can sit in on a cushion or in a chair.
