The 2022 Zen study program with Mugaku Roshi will focus on readings from Red Pine’s Zen Roots: The First Thousand Years. This will be a tour through a collection of revered and varied Buddhist texts drawn from the first thousand years of Zen’s history. In addition, we will begin by reading Karen Armstrong’s, Buddha, her rendition of the Buddha’s life, and several works by other contemporary authors to supplement our reading as we go along.
The course will be infused with practice, dialogue, small group work, and excellent sangha. When you finish, you’ll feel like a well educated Zen Buddhist!
The 2022 ONLINE WITH MUGAKU ROSHI SERIES includes:
- 37 weeks of instruction and practice with Michael Mugaku Zimmerman Roshi.
- Access to MP3 recordings of all class sessions via Soundcloud.
- Access to Zoom Video recordings for two weeks after each class session.
