About Us
Two Arrows Zen is a center for the study and practice of Zen Buddhism. Our teachers are in the White Plum lineage of Taizan and Maezumi Roshi, and are successors of Genpo Merzel Roshi. We have two locations in Utah, and urban center located at Artspace in downtown Salt Lake City, and a retreat center located in Torrey, Utah, just outside of Capitol Reef National Park.

Programs and Events
IN-PERSON EVENTS
Our teachers give regular talks at Two Arrows Zen and host events in person. These shorter experiences can give you a taste of Zen, of the style of our teachers, and the people who make up our practice community.
ONLINE PROGRAMS
Our center offers online courses of Zen study and practice throughout the year. There is also a curriculum of training in personal development and interpersonal skills based on the insights of Zen.
RESIDENTIAL RETREATS
For those looking to deepen their sitting practice, Two Arrows Zen offers one-day sitting experiences or multi-day sesshins. We also offer retreats that combine meditation with other skill sets.

DIANE MUSHO HAMILTON ROSHI
Diane began her study of Buddhism under Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche in 1983, before receiving ordination as a Zen monk, from Genpo Merzel Roshi, in 2003. Genpo Roshi is a successor of Taizan Maezumi Roshi.
In 2006, Diane received Shiho, Dharma Transmission, from Genpo Roshi, and she received Inka, the Final Seal of Approval, in 2018 from Sidney Musai Walter Roshi, a successor of Genpo Roshi.
MICHAEL MUGAKU ZIMMERMAN ROSHI
Michael received Jukai in 1998, and was ordained in the Soto Zen lineage by Genpo Merzel Roshi in 2003.
In 2006, Michael received Shiho, Dharma Transmission, from Genpo Roshi, and became a Zen teacher. In 2018, he received Inka, the Final Seal of Approval, from Sidney Musai Walter Roshi in the White Plum lineage of Taizan Maezumi Roshi.
